Hiroshi Sonoda (Yojiro Noda) dreamed of becoming a painter since he was a child. However, the cruel reality shattered his artistic dream. After graduating from the University of the Arts, Sonoda became a glass cleaner. What made Sonoda even more sad was that his ex-girlfriend, who had once fought for his dream with him, has now become a well-known painter and has held a personal exhibition. One day, Sonoda suddenly fainted. Unwilling to tell his family about his illness, he asked a high school girl named Mai (Hana Sugisaki) who he met by chance to pretend to be his sister and accompany him to the hospital for examination. What Sonoda didn't expect was that he was suffering from advanced gastric cancer and only had about three months left to live.
