Miyamoto Dai (voiced by Yamada Yuki), a high school student who loves jazz, lives in Sendai and practices saxophone by the river every day, rain or shine. After graduation, Dai went to Tokyo alone to pursue his dream. By chance, Dai met the talented pianist Sawabe Yukiki (voiced by Mamiya Shotaro) of the same age in a jazz bar. The two hit it off and formed a three-person band "JASS" with Dai's high school classmate, drummer Tamada Shunji (voiced by Okayama Amane).
