Shin Ha Kyun, Han Ji Min, Lee Jung Eun, and Jung Jin Young have confirmed their co-starring in TVING's original new drama "Yonder". The drama is adapted from the novel "Goodbye, Yonder" and is set in a Korean metropolis in the ubiquitous environment of the 2040s. The male protagonist's wife died of cancer. He was immersed in the grief of losing his wife and suddenly received an email. After that, he decided to abandon his body and go to Yonder where he could live with his wife again. "Yonder" refers to the world of immortality. The drama will tell the true meaning of immortality and death, memory and forgetfulness, happiness and misfortune through Yonder. Shin Ha Kyun plays the role of a reporter who lives a vain life alone after his wife's death. Then, by chance, he receives an email that allows him to see his deceased wife, and then he falls into confusion. Han Ji Min plays the role of the male protagonist's deceased wife in the drama. Before deciding to euthanize, she signed a questionable contract and then led the male protagonist to Yonder. Lee Jung-eun plays the role of the operator who invites people to the unknown space Yonder. Jung Jin-young plays the role of a brain expert who studies death. The drama is directed by Lee Joon-ik, who directed "The King and the Clown", "The Throne", and "The Story of Jasanyubi", and written by Kim Jung-hoon, Oh Seung-hyun, and Kim Seong-chul. It will premiere next year.
