Snowfall, the FX series that has been officially ordered, will have a 10-episode first season. Created by John Singleton, the series is about the spread of the drug trade in Los Angeles in the 1980s. Singleton and Eric Amadio, directors of Boyz N The Hood, co-wrote the script, and Adil El Arbi and Bilal Fallah directed. The pilot was reshot and Dave Andron was hired as a producer. In addition, the series won a tax exemption. Snowfall is set in the early days of the drug epidemic, which eventually became known to the public and affected the cultural level.
