The second season consists of two parallel stories, both written, directed and produced by Lodge Kerrigan and Amy Seimetz, with Jeff Cuban, Andrew Fierberg and Adele Romanski involved in the production. The second season will focus on new characters, new relationships, new plots and new story locations, but the theme will not deviate from "the cost of intimacy and its emotional consequences". Kerrigan's story is set against the backdrop of the 2018 US midterm elections, focusing on the impact of corrupt black political funds-in the American political circle, everything can be done with money, and everyone can be bought with money, as long as you know exactly their "price".
