The seventh film by Chadian director Mahamant-Sare Haroun started shooting in Paris, France in November 2016 and has now completed pre-production. The film tells the story of a widower and his two children who try every possible way to gain a foothold in Europe in order to escape the civil war in their country. The protagonist is Abbas, a middle school teacher who came to France with his 8-year-old and 12-year-old children to seek political asylum, but after two years of waiting, his application was ruthlessly rejected and they had to leave France and start a new round of refugee life.
