HBO officially announced that the film version of "Deadwood" will start shooting in October and is expected to be broadcast next spring. Last year, it was reported that David Milch, the screenwriter of "Deadwood", had completed the script for the film version. The drama version was broadcast for three seasons from 2004 to 2006, but fans never saw the final ending. The story of the drama revolves around a mining town outside the US border.
