The play tells the story of housewife Bai Yingying who becomes disillusioned with her marriage life after discovering her husband Ding Zhiyuan has cheated on her best friend Gu Feier. She then discovers many suspicious circumstances surrounding her sister Bai Jingjing's suicide six years ago. After escaping Gu Feier's pursuit, she starts a new chapter in her career with the help of friends such as Jiang Chuan and Jin Rui.
