Edward Burns joins Apple's new series "Amazing Stories". The series is created by Steven Spielberg and co-produced by Amblin TV and Universal TV. Apple has ordered 10 episodes. Burns will play an agent in an episode of the new series, which will be directed by Mark Milo ("Game of Thrones") and will also serve as the executive producer. The old version of "Amazing Stories" was broadcast for two seasons in the mid-1980s. It consists of a series of stories with elements of science fiction, horror, humor, etc., and has been nominated for 12 Emmy Awards.
