Emma and Peter think they are at the peak of their lives, with marriage, children and a suburban house, until their respective partners dump them. Fearing they have lost their chance at happily ever after, and horrified to learn their partners have moved on to new lives, feeling without prospects and threatened with a lonely death, Emma and Peter decide to go all out and devise a plan to end their respective partners' new relationships and win them back.
