Introduction
Gerard Butler will work again with Ric Roman Wolf, the director of Angel Has Fallen, to star in the latter's new film Kandahar. Mitchell LaFortune, a former US military intelligence officer, wrote the script, which was adapted from his real experience. It tells the story of Tom Harris (played by Butler), a CIA secret agent working in the Middle East. The leak of an intelligence report puts his secret mission and identity at risk of being exposed. Harris is trapped in the heart of the enemy. He and his translator must flee the desert to an evacuation point in Kandahar, while avoiding the pursuit of elite special forces.
