Kei Tanaka will star in the new film [Hinomaru Soul ~Hero Behind the Scenes~] (ヒノマルソウル～Stage Hero tachi～, tentative translation). The film is directed by Ken Iizuka ([Rainbow Time]), and the script is written by Kenaki Sugihara ([Sadako]) and Kenichi Suzuki ("Villain: The Criminal Investigation"). The story tells the story of the 1998 Nagano Winter Olympics, when Japan won the gold medal in the men's ski jumping team event. Behind this, there are 25 test jumpers who silently support the entire team. Kei Tanaka will play one of them, Nishiya Nishi. The film will start shooting in January 2020 and will be released in June.
