The film tells the story of Su Zhenghuai (Yin Zhaode), a low-level clerk in the Department of Health during the Republic of China, who took his eldest daughter Su Ting (Xia Yiyao) and son Su Yuesheng (Chu Yuhe) to visit relatives in the provincial capital. On the train, he met his second daughter Su Ling (Zhu Ya), who had been missing for a long time. The train was attacked by rats while traveling. Unfortunately, Su Yuesheng was bitten by rats and fell into a coma. In order to save his youngest son and many bitten passengers, Su Zhenghuai and Su Ting decided to take the risk and go to Xiaobaihe Hospital to get medicine, thus starting an extreme escape.
