Lawyer Chen Zhitian (played by Aaron Kwok) became a prosecutor in pursuit of his conscience. The first case he took over was a sexual assault case: Li Jing (played by Gui Lunmei), a piano teacher with lower limb disability, claimed that she was sexually assaulted by doctor Zhou Wenxuan (played by Zhang Zhen) during a physical examination. Li Jing was also the piano teacher of Zhou Wenxuan's daughter Tingting. Chen Zhitian firmly believed that Li Jing was violated and tried his best to seek justice for her.
