Emma McKeon (Sex Education) and Romain Duris (The New Girlfriend) will star in the new French film Eiffel. Martin Bourboulon (Dad or Mom) will direct the film. The film will revolve around the love story behind the Eiffel Tower. Emma will play Adrienne Bourgès, a mysterious, well-born woman related to engineer Gustave Eiffel. The story tells that after Eiffel successfully collaborated with Frédéric Auguste Bartholdi on the Statue of Liberty, he felt pressured to design something eye-catching for the 1889 Paris World's Fair. While looking for inspiration, he met Adrienne by chance, and the forbidden passion between them also inspired the design of the Eiffel Tower. The film will start shooting in August.
