Haruka (voiced by Ayase Haruka) is an ordinary 16-year-old high school girl. Her mother (voiced by Toda Naho) left her early. Now, Haruka and her father (voiced by Omori Nanpeng) live together. One day, Haruka came to a shrine in Musashino alone, where she had beautiful memories of her childhood. However, what Haruka didn't expect was that she actually found a fox (voiced by Sawashiro Miyuki) carrying things. Following the footsteps of the fox, Haruka was teleported to the other world "Abandoned Treasure Island", which is full of garbage and waste discarded by humans. Here, Haruka reunited with the fox, and she hoped that the fox could help her find a mirror that her mother had given her. Half-heartedly, one person and one fox embarked on a journey. The Abandoned Treasure Island is forbidden to humans, so Haruka had to hide her tracks while looking for the mirror, but her whereabouts were still discovered by the baron.
