In the vast and quiet forest, the mother squirrel went around looking for nuts for her children. However, the natural enemies were lingering, so she and her children had to stay in the nest. Unable to bear the two little guys' pleading, the mother squirrel told a story about the Gruffalo: A long time ago, there was a kind and clever little brown mouse (voiced by James Corden). He wandered in the forest and was attacked by foxes, owls and venomous snakes one after another. In a moment of wit, the little brown mouse claimed that he wanted to meet his friend the Gruffalo. The Gruffalo was huge and scary, and he especially liked to eat foxes, owls and venomous snakes. His big talk scared away the natural enemies, but the best part was yet to come... This film is based on the original work of the same name by British writer Julia Donaldson and illustrator Axel Scheffler, and was broadcast on the BBC TV channel at Christmas.
