In the year 3028, the Earth has developed rapidly in space technology and has established contacts with various intelligent creatures in the universe, but has been attacked by a pure energy creature called the "Tron". When the Earth is destroyed, Dr. Sam Tucker (voiced by Ron Perlman) has to entrust his son Kyle (voiced by Alex D. Linz) to his alien friend Tyke (played by Tone Loc) in order to save the "Titan Project". 15 years later, Kyle grew up with Tyke in a garbage dump in the asteroid belt until his father's colleague Captain Joseph Corso (voiced by Bill Pullman) persuaded him to take the fate of mankind as his own responsibility and use the ring left by his father to help find the location of the Titan spacecraft. At the same time, Kyle fell in love with the deputy captain Ajima (voiced by Drew Barrymore). After going through untold hardships, everyone finally found the Titan spacecraft, but can they resist the attack of the Tron people together and open up a new world for mankind? The film was nominated for the Annie Award for Outstanding Contribution to Animation, Production Arrangement, and Animated Film, and was nominated for the American International Press Association's Golden Satellite Award for Best Film. It also won the American Sound Editors Association's Golden Film Award for Best Sound Editing.
