Chiki Sakai (voiced by Yuki Kaji) is a second-year junior high school student. She became interested in the sport because she accidentally saw Fujitani Kaname (voiced by Takahiro Sakurai)'s wonderful diving posture in her childhood. After entering junior high school, Chiki joined the school's diving team. The people who sweated with him were the taciturn and uncommunicative Okitsu Himo (voiced by Yuichi Nakamura), the extremely competitive and frank Daikoreyo (voiced by Ryota Oosaka), and the calm and slightly neurotic Maruyama Reiji (voiced by Koki Uchiyama). One day, a new coach named Asagi Natsuko (voiced by Kaori Nazuka) came to the team. She told the players that if the diving team failed to qualify for the Olympics, it would face the fate of disbanding.
