Five hundred years ago, Sun Wukong (voiced by Zhang Lei), who was transformed from a stone monkey, made a big fuss in the Heavenly Palace and was eventually trapped by the Buddha under the Five Elements Mountain. After many years, the city of Chang'an was suddenly robbed by mountain monsters, and boys and girls cried and their lives were hanging by a thread. At the critical moment, Jiang Liuer (voiced by Lin Zijie), who had been raised by the wandering monk Fa Ming (voiced by Wu Wenlun) since childhood, rescued a little girl, but was chased by the mountain monster. After a chase, Jiang Liuer accidentally lifted the seal of Sun Wukong, and the Monkey King naturally taught the mountain monster a lesson. Because the seal was not solved, Wukong had to escort Jiang Liuer and the little girl back to Chang'an, and encountered Zhu Bajie (voiced by Liu Jiurong) and the White Dragon Horse along the way.
